Cheddars, blues, soft cheeses, raw milk cheeses, gouda, washed rinds…you will find them all! Cow, goat and sheep milk cheeses are offered in season. Maine has a variety of cheese producers, from large scale like Pineland Farms to small creameries that are one person operations like Spring Day Creamery. They all play an important role in maintaining the vitality of agriculture in Maine.
Locally produced charcuterie is a natural choice to accompany Maine cheeses on a cheese board or for snacking. We have a variety of salami, meat sticks, kielbasa and prosciutto to choose from. We also stock the ‘finest kind’ of Maine craft foods including beer, wine, mead and hard ciders. We have several Maine beers, mead, local wines, and hard ciders foraged from the wild apples in Maine. Pair them with the local crackers, jams, jellies, chutneys, snacks, pastas, sauces and other delicious items for a hearty meal that is locally sourced.
