We are a charming nine-acre working homestead in Eliot Maine. We grow medicinal herbs and flowers and produce hyper-seasonal tinctures, salves & tea blends. Elderberry & Tulsi are our specialty & we have over 70 varieties of herbs in our edible landscape gardens. Our chickens wander the property & produce the tastiest of eggs. We offer daily Yoga and Wellness classes in our timber-framed barn that sits on a hillock overlooking towering pines & majestic oak trees. Radiant heat floors and a wood stove bring warmth in the winter. With windows on all sides, it is airy and cool in the summertime. Immerse yourself in the sounds of nature & enjoy the diversity of teachers and their offerings. Shilo Farm offers two choices for your personal retreat: stay in a handcrafted apartment nestled within a working barn or a 2 bedroom farmhouse unit with a custom kitchen and cozy sleeping nooks. Soak in our Japanese-style cedar hot tub, meander the woodland meditation path, sit by a fire in the outdoor fire circle, enjoy the sunset from the deck, or spend time with the goats!
