Sawyer's Maple Farm is a family-owned and -operated business that was started in 2010. Located in Somerset County, the largest maple producing county in the United States, our certified organic maple farm is nestled in the foothills of Boundary Bald Mountain of Moose River, Maine. We strive to supply our customers with the highest quality pure Maple Syrup available using the industry's most current technologies and equipment.
Agritourism Activities
Join us on Saturday the 26th for our Maine Maple Sunday Weekend event. There will be tours of the entire maple syrup presses, starting from the trees in our 7000 tap maple orchard, and all the way to our evaporator and finished product. We'll be boiling syrup if we have sap and we will have lots of maple treats and goodies for sale.

Directions. Stay North on Rt 201 till you get to the Heald Pond Rd. We will have signs at the intersection. We are two miles in the Heald Pond Rd on the right hand side.
Dress warm and wear boots for tours in the woods.
This year we have District Forester Jim Ferrante from the Maine Forest Service to give tours of the woods, tree identification, a history of maple syrup, and the overall process of making it today. Jim will be doing tours at 10:00am and 2:00pm, with more tours possible if there is demand.
We will have syrup samples, possibly hot off the evaporator if we are boiling.
We will be selling hot maple coffee and hot chocolate. As well as maple syrup, cotton candy, granola, candy, cream, coffee, popcorn, bbq sauces, sugar, maple spice rubs, and much more.
