Rime Nor Reason Farm

Farm

Rime Nor Reason Farm is a Downeast example of sustainability and organic farming. Specializing in premium, certified organic CSAs, grass-fed beef, pastured poultry and more. Rime Farm is also known for our distinctive “blueberry field fed eggs,” a local favorite and a fun highlight of our farming methods.

At Rime Nor Reason, we embrace regenerative agricultural methods to enhance soil health and biodiversity. Our commitment extends beyond just growing food; we aim to nurture the land and support a thriving ecosystem. Our range includes not only organic produce but also Belted Galloway cattle that are 100% grass-fed and finished and pastured poultry and pork.

Community-supported agriculture (CSA) is at the heart of our operations. We offer flexible CSA shares that provide seasonal, fresh produce directly from our fields to your table. This model supports our mission of fostering community connections and ensuring food security through sustainable means.

Visitors and online shoppers can explore a variety of organic products at our farm stand each Sunday from Noon to 2 pm mid-June through October. We also attend local farmers markets in Calais & Lubec or you can buy online through our website: http://RimeFarm.com.

From fresh, organic vegetables to handcrafted soaps and free-range poultry, our products reflect our commitment to quality and sustainability. Stop by our blog, too: https://RimeFarm.Blog to see what’s happening!
