Moodytown Gardens is owned and operated by Johanna Burdet and Jarret Haiss. They raise MOFGA certified organic produce and cut flowers, grass-fed beef, and pastured pork. They sell their products at the Farm-stand, at the Skowhegan and Belgrade lakes Farmers markets, through a CSA, and at select restaurants, and stores.
The on-going mission of Moodytown Gardens is to provide healthy food at a fair price to aid in increasing food security and revitalising the local economy in our community. Farming practices are guided by the goal of improving soil health and fertility and being good stewards to the land; ensuring prosperity for future generations.
