At Lazy Acres Farm, we grow over 50 varieties of garden and field flowers. Our seasonal specialty cut flowers are started right here in our little greenhouse and grow out in the field until they are picked at their peak to grace your home or event. Our flowers are grown using sustainable methods and we strive to provide the most beautiful blooms in their prime. Our flowers are available through our flower bouquet subscription (CSA), at our on-farm cart at the end of the driveway, as custom orders for special occasions, as well as wholesale to local florists and designers. At Lazy Acres Farm we also sustainably raise pigs in our pasture and woodlot where the pigs can be pigs and enjoy all of the sunshine and goodies they root up in the soil.
All Lazy Acres pork is sourced locally. Piglets arrive at about six weeks of age and enjoy endless opportunities to dig in the dirt and wallow in the mud. Their pasture is rotated throughout the season to allow fresh earth to dig up, and to allow the pasture to rest. They feast on everything they can find, as well as a balanced diet of grain and all of the garden leftovers they want. Their pasture is conveniently located near the apple orchard – and it is no wonder apple season appears to be their favorite time of year. The pigs are processed at a local, State-inspected slaughterhouse to your specifications and delivered vacuum sealed and ready for your freezer. Available as whole or half pig.
