Green Spark Farm cultivates 4 acres of rare and heirloom vegetables and medicinal herbs in Cape Elizabeth, Maine and sells them at the Portland Farmers’ Market on Wednesdays in Monument Square from 7am-2pm and on Saturdays in Deering Oaks Park 7am-12 noon. We also have a CSA with pick up at the farm in Cape or at the Portland Farmers’ Market. At Green Spark Farm, we grow produce reflecting our food biodiversity: rare and uniquely flavorful and colorful annual fruits and vegetables. We produce beautiful vegetables for the Greater Portland community. We practice organic ecological agriculture, balancing the ecology of the farm with the surrounding landscape to encourage soil health, plant nutrition, and beneficial insects and microbial life, all of which contribute to a resilient farming system within a wild environment. All of our crops are certified organic by MOFGA Certification Services, LLC.
