We want to hear from you!
Maine Senior FarmShare Senior Roundtables at the 2022 Maine Agricultural Trades Show
From January 10th – January 14th, the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry is holding a virtual Maine Agricultural Trades Show. Please join us for special sessions focused on seniors and Maine Senior FarmShare (MSFP). It is easy to participate using your computer or smart device (such as an iPad or smartphone).
Any Maine senior is welcome to join us for one of our roundtable discussions! Join us for a virtual conversation with other Mainers who love local food and love Maine’s farms. Do you have ideas about making the MSFP better? We want to hear your ideas! Do you have favorite recipes to use Maine-grown produce? We want to learn about those too! If you join one of our lunchtime conversations, you can expect:
- the chance to swap recipes with other seniors,
- cooking tips to maximize your FarmShare,
- a chance to share ideas and suggestions about the program,
- info about other programs to help Mainers stretch their grocery dollars.
Feel free to share this information with other seniors in your life who participate in MSFP, or who are interested in participating in the future!
- Senior Roundtable I: Wednesday, January 12th from 12pm-1pm
- Senior Roundtable II: Thursday, January 13th from 12pm-1pm
